Description
The Lincang Border Economic Cooperation Zone (LBECZ) is comprised of several core industrial zones covering 3.47 square kilometers and located in the counties of Cangyuan Wa, Gengma Dai and Wa, and Zhenkang (including a tier 1 national port in Qingshuihe).
History
ADB loan financing was approved on 10 Dec 2018, signed on 14 April 2019, effective 11 July 2019. Strong progress since inception. Sixteen packages will be procured in 2020. Detailed design of most packages will be completed in 2020, which will enable strong implementation throughout 2021.
