The APM Terminals MedPort Tangier port in Morocco has undergone multiple expansion phases to increase its capacity. Phase 2, completed in late 2023, added 1 million TEU (Twenty-foot Equivalent Unit) of capacity. Phase 3, which became operational in December 2024, further increased capacity by another 1 million TEU, bringing the total to 5.2 million TEU
