Objective

Description

The project will rehabilitate a four-lane road section in Kazakhstan, a part of the road connecting Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, and Shymkent, one of the major industrial cities in Kazakhstan. The project road will start from Shymkent, a junction of CAREC Corridors 1 and 3, and is expected to extend benefits of the ongoing ADB-financed improvement works.
