Objective

The N'Djamena–Moundou–Koutéré Road Rehabilitation is a project to improve the road corridor between these cities in Chad. The project is intended to make the road more accessible, which will help with trade and economic activity by enabling Chad to have access to the nearest seaport located in Douala, Cameroon

Description

This project is a real window of opportunity to improve the lives of people living in the Lake Chad region, which is affected by climate change, political unrest, and violence,” added Clara de Sousa, Country Director for Burkina Faso, Chad, Mali and Niger (Source: https://www.worldbank.org/en/news/press-release/2022/02/15/world-bank-supports-cameroon-and-chad-to-improve-regional-connectivity-and-resilience)
