Objective

MMSEZ strategic focus is to achieve rapid industrialization through use of the SEZ as an investment promotion tool. first and foremost as an industrial policy tool MMSEZ seeks to attract both Foreign and Domestic Direct Investment and in the resource-based industries (agriculture and mining), general manufacturing, green energy and logistics. The MMSEZ comprises two sites, one focusing primarily on Energy and Metallurgy and the other on General Manufacturing, Agro-Processing and Logistics.

Description

MMSEZ Musina-Makhado Special Economic Zone is a flagship of the Limpopo Provincial Government (RSA), MMSEZ is a State-Owned Company established in terms of the SEZ Act no. 16 of 2014, to develop, manage and operate the SEZ. MMSEZ SOC is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Limpopo Economic Development Agency, with its own Board of Directors. It received cabinet approval and was sub- sequently gazetted in December 2017.
