Objective

The project includes building a second concentrator plant, a new tailings storage facility, and expanding existing seawater pumping and logistics infrastructure.

Description

Brownfield expansion of Antofagasta Port by Antofagasta p, set to add 95,000 tonnes per day of processing capacity. The project will increase annual copper-equivalent production by 170,000 tonnes (including gold and molybdenum) starting in 2027, utilizing new deposits and innovative high-pressure grinding rolls (HPGRs)
