Objective
Part of the longer railway line, passing through Azerbaijan, spans 511 km, connecting the Russian border to the Iranian border. It is a critical component of the North-South transport corridor (and CAREC), designed to boost transit, reduce transport times, and connect Europe to Indi Description
The reconstruction is divided into four phases. The first phase focuses on restoring the 60-kilometer stretch of the Alat-Osmanli line. This involves constructing 131 engineering structures, including railway bridges, road overpasses, and underpasses. Additionally, the reconstruction includes the installation of drainage systems to ensure water flow management and prevent erosion.
