Description

The investment from ADB includes two components. Component A, transport infrastructure development, includes reconstruction and widening of the Sapary-Jalalabad Road (the second section of the Kabul to Jalalabad Road), Sharan to Angoor Ada Road, and other road construction projects. Component B is the transport network management capacity development.

History

The project was scheduled to complete in 2017. The schedule was revised to be 2020. It is unclear whether the project is operational.
